Dear America,

Yes, today I am proud to be American. I am proud to be Black in America. When you look back at history you can see when we took a step forward because we all know hindsight is 20/20. How often do you get to witness a moment when you know we have taken a step forward?

I am not a fortune teller and even armed with the experience of where we’ve been through, I can’t tell you where we’re going. I can tell you that I want to take that step with you. This website is typically reserved for those people that have wronged us, intrigued us, made us laugh and so on, but today I’m asking you to take the step with me. For those that are not as moved, I understand, but I don’t want you to think I am looking down at you. I want you to tell me how we can work together to do this. I know we can because we just did. America, I need your help. All I ask is that you believe.
